Land east of Rayleigh Road, Hadleigh
Over three previous stages of public engagement, this website has outlined the latest plans for land east of Rayleigh Road, Hadleigh.
The most recent and final stage of public engagement closed on Monday 14 November 2022. We will now assess the comments and received and consider any further updates to the planning application drawings. A Statement of Community Involvement will be submitted with the planning application which will respond to comments raised through the three stages of public engagement.
This Land currently intend to submit an outline planning application by the end of 2022. The ‘Contact Us’ form at the bottom of this webpage will continue to be available until the planning application is submitted to Castle Point Borough Council.
The application will be accompanied by detailed assessments of relevant matters including traffic/highways impact, drainage, landscape, ecology, archaeology, provision of services such as education, health facilities and public open space. The planning application will be accompanied by parameter plans which establish the uses to be accommodated on the site. These parameters will inform the more detailed reserved matters application, subject to outline planning permission being granted for the proposals. These parameter plans will show the general siting of proposed housing, new open spaces and habitats, new vehicular and pedestrian/cycle accesses into the site, new public footpaths and cycleways, proposed new community facilities and landscape features.
Upon the submission of the planning application to Castle Point Borough Council, this website will be updated to include a link to the planning application webpage on the council’s website. This Land would emphasise that whilst this is the last opportunity to comment upon specific application drawings through this website, local residents and businesses will have a further opportunity to make
comments on the planning application (including all planning application reports and drawings) through the council’s website.
This Land would like to thank local residents and businesses for their comments at each stage of
public engagement in the preparation of the planning application which have influenced the planning
application plans and drawings.
